Best option for deep tissue work

I've only had it for 24 hours and this tool is definitely my new favorite! I have been collecting self-massage devices for a long time and have filled my harmonium box with them. I have found this roller particularly effective for rolling your back along your spine. I start at the base of the skull (back of the head) and work my way down. I usually do this with massage balls (yoga setup) but found this video better. The balls I use are expected to be replaced after about 6 months of constant use as they don't keep their shape. These casters are also adjustable, which is nice. They glide with decent power, but not when you're lying on them. I haven't worked on the rest of the body yet, but I did a quick glute and hamstring workout. I find that lying on your back with your knees bent and feet on the floor is best for this. I also like to raise my arms up and along my head and lower my shoulder blades on the rollers (gently and deliberately, of course). Moving the hips from side to side also helped achieve this. Depending on where the rollers are on the back, I also found it nice to support my head on the yoga block. I'm looking forward to experimenting with my hamstrings, lateral body and especially the IT Band!
