Most underrated light source - perfect for night lighting or dark places

I would like more people to read the descriptions. As such, this review is aimed more at countering the pointless negativity of my positive experience with these lamps. I buy "square orange". I love these lamps. I've bought 5 in a few years. I'm amazed at how long the batteries last in motion sensor mode. I really like the soft light they give off, it's perfect for my senses as I don't use harsh overhead lighting and hate it. It's designed to provide enough light to see where you're going without illuminating the entire room. This is especially ideal at night when too much light is harsh and harsh on the eyes and senses. I only use ambient lighting and in places where I need to light up dark corners. I use them specifically for lighting where and when I need it. I won't and won't leave them on all night, of course that will eat up batteries and it's pointless unless there are people around who need lights. Using it for its intended purpose works great. I attach it to a motion sensor in my dressing room so that the light comes on when I enter and my movements in my clothes support it, and then goes off when I leave. I haven't changed batteries this way in over a year. I have one in my sauna that I leave on the switch so it stays on while I'm there for about 40 minutes. Again, the soft glow is beautiful. Then I turn it off. I also had to replace the batteries on this one just a year later. I have one in the shower that I turn on while in and then turn off. This one hasn't changed the batteries for a year either, one died, but it was my fault, got wet, in another house I kept one by the stairs to illuminate night drives in a dark entrance, turns on when needed and turns off when I don't do it. Although in this house the light was on all the time when nobody moved there. I moved. Now this works as it should. :D They are designed to light up when you need it and dim when you don't. I love them and will continue to use them.
