This is the third "wool beanie" I've bought from Revain recently and the first one that has exceeded (or even lived up to) my expectations. The first wasn't really wool, despite his claims, the second was really prickly. This hat looks amazing, blue is a rich color that speaks of quality. The wool is soft enough and long enough that when I slept in the tent and the sun came up I could pull it over my face and eyes and feel comfortable. It's the right size for my head and looks good with the brim folded or simply pulled up. The wool is quite thin, making it lightweight yet warm enough to be used as a 3-season hiking hat or for winter outdoor activities.
