After installing this filter as a regular replacement on a 40ft trawler, the water supply was poor, the pump was noisy and continued to run for 10 seconds or more after the faucet was turned off became. Probably air somewhere in the lines. After spending an hour or more filling all the faucets and then the lines, I found that the water was not flowing freely from the filter outlet to the fresh water pump. In the end I could barely blow it through. The old filter was unlimited. Back in and problem solved. A worthy replacement has yet to be found.
