Halogen bulbs don't last longer
That's a great price for these bulbs, but none have lasted more than a few months. I bought them about 14 months ago and the third one just blew. That's just over 4 months per bulb, and that's if I pop one in the hood on the day of purchase, which I most likely didn't do. The hood has 2 bulbs. The lamp in the other lamp worked all 3 of those bulbs and then a few more. Maybe I got a bad batch. It's a shame, because that's a really great price for these lamps.
