I don't need a fancy raincoat for my dog. I just want her not to get soaked to the skin when she walks in the door and tries to dry herself on the carpet and/or couch. This raincoat is cute, but it was designed for a child, not a dog. You need to turn the dog over to insert the legs and then attach the plastic buttons to the stomach. My dog is VERY tolerant of people dressing up, but I can't imagine every dog enjoying this type of activity before and after walking in the rain. I have found the best raincoat with a velcro closure around the neck and belly. Easy to put on, easy to take off. If your dog thinks he's a human baby (like mine), this coat might suit you. But I'm an adult and I just don't have the patience!
