I love EVERYTHING about this device. Exactly as described and even better! What I show in my pictures: 1. It can be held on a magnetic surface. 2. It can be placed on a flat surface with the retractable J-arm. 3. I can go through multiple or any number of loops along the edge one or more times, for any purpose or just for hanging. 4. Neatly packaged and handy, complete with a small Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screws in the battery compartment. 5. What you don't see here is that there is a very thin silicone lip between the two halves that detaches for inserting/removing the batteries, making the battery compartment somewhat waterproof. 6. One of the light sequence options will flash in Morse code for SOS (._ _ _.). 7. The last key press will light up the front with a white flashlight, and it's bright enough. I am very very happy with this product, glad I bought a bunch, will probably buy more. I work in EMS, I row in the water, I ride my bike and I could use an evolution of the emergency warning lights I've always had in my cars. WOW! For real. It is great.
