Review on Smartphone HUAWEI Mate 20 Pro 6/128 GB, Dual nano SIM, black by Mateusz Cieciora ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not exactly the product I wanted, the price and quality do not match.

I wanted to try switching from Sony to Huawei, but the attempt failed (: I didn’t wait for a compact from Sony at WMC 2022 and took Pixel 3 128gb in March 2022 - I’m not satisfied with words and use it with one hand without pixel problems) The camera is really super, and not only in the quality of night shooting, but also in the presence of a good zoom lens, macro and widescreen in one smartphone. The screen is disgusting, there are no other words. The greens on the screen were almost immediately and clearly visible on the dark interface theme, and especially on the right side and along the top and bottom edges of the screen. The screen was replaced under warranty in the official service (with delivery back and forth in Hong Kong it took 1 week) without question. At the same time, they change the screen along with the battery, touch panel, receiver and some small things. The battery holds well for this screen size and stuffing, but nothing more Using one hand is inconvenient, although there are settings in the interface. The native cover with a window is convenient only because you can answer the call without opening the cover. The dimensions are not convenient for a smartphone and it is very slippery, without a case it is impossible to use the word at all. It also pissed me off after the flawless work of nfc in Sony, its crooked work here, either the matter is in the module itself, or the software of the curve, but in more than half of the cases, after applying the device to the payment terminal, it locks the screen and asks to enter a PIN (and you are standing in the store and standing nearby looks like you are entering it on the big screen), well, some kind of nonsense. Moreover, I observed this story at any payment points, that is, the point is not in the terminals, but in the smartphone software. It's mega inconvenient. In Sony, you just bring the unlocked device to the terminal and the transaction went through instantly, right there in 8 cases out of 10 when the screen is unlocked, when you try to pay via nfc, it locks the screen and does not unlock it by fingerprint or face scanner, but asks for a PIN. horror. In general, the phone is a C grade out of 5 (the price-quality ratio and dimensions are depressing, of course)

Pros
  • The camera is super (three and different and very high quality) The battery is good The presence of a slot for a memory card (although its format, but 128GB is available for sale)
Cons
  • Green screen that was replaced under warranty Inconvenient dimensions, it is impossible to use normally with one hand (shovel) Very slippery, without a case you can use it (in aquamarine, cutting lines on the back of the cover does not help at all, the phone is very slippery) Expensive accessories and the device itself The work of nfc payments and the fingerprint scanner in the screen
