Review on Clean Hydrate Home Waxing Oils by Vanessa Lopez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Using pre-wax is a MUST!

You MUST use this oil before waxing. This is a necessity! I bought the Kolua Wax Starter Kit which comes with a bottle of pre and post wax oils. I also bought Dr. Bump before and after waxing (it's a spray that should do both jobs) because all the reviews said it was a must. So in this review I will essentially compare 2. The reason Kolua Pre-Waxing Spray is a MUST HAVE is because it cleans the skin very well and SIGNIFICANTLY reduces the pain that comes with depilation. I have half my face with Dr. Bump as a prewax spray and the other half as a prewax kolua oil spray. I didn't even flinch on the side I used with the Kolua spray compared to a few tears on the side I got after using Dr. Bump. I also did the left leg depilation with Dr. Bump, and right, with Kolua for pre-depilation. Colua's leg didn't hurt. Everyone. dr Bump's leg hurt badly. For regrowth treatment, Kolua Regrowth Oil works well to remove wax residue and soothe my skin. I can't talk about its use to prevent bumps because I haven't used it in areas that would normally form bumps. For comparison Dr. Bump soothes the skin well after depilation, but does not remove wax residue and does not prevent bumps, which is its main advantage. To prevent pimples, it is best to use witch hazel and apple cider vinegar for aftercare for the first 2 days, followed by AHA serum and tea tree oil for 3-7 days. any wax and I will buy it as soon as my starter kit runs out of sprays!
