One of them went through the washing machine with sunglasses in his pocket and the lycra peeled off the neoprene. However, they still stuck to the temples of the glasses and continued to work, albeit in the form of a decrepit sort of double cord on the back. The patterns aren't my favorite, but getting six croaks for the price made it worth it for us. Just a note, I've tried some on my glasses and they're not big enough for an adult, although you could push them down.
