The product worked well on my stainless steel pans but not well on my stainless steel sink. I also didn't understand what it says about it now containing 50% more surfactant than before. This is a big problem if, like me, you put stainless steel pans in the dishwasher. If you have a high energy efficiency dishwasher, DO NOT use this product for items you put in the dishwasher. This has caused confusion for me. When I opened the dishwasher after using it on my pans, it left a white sudsy residue on my other dishes and in the dishwasher. Multiple cleanings were required to remove all of the foam this material generated. The dishwasher repairman told me not to use anything with surfactants in the dishwasher because they save water, they don't do the job of removing scum. That is why dishwashing detergents are called surfactant-free.
