I bought a slide when the baby was two weeks old and we still swim on it (my son is 5.5 months old). Great device! The material is combined, the base is made of hard polished plastic, and the mesh is silicone. It is soft, very pleasant to the touch, the child lies comfortably. Does not rub, does not press, there are no irritations on the body from contact with the surface. The coating is not slippery, the baby does not slide down. Plus, there is a small mound-limiter between the holes for the legs. The slide does not roll around the bath, the rubber edging at the bottom of the base restrains its movement, therefore it stands firmly in place. It is not capricious in care, it is easy to wash, I dry it on a hook (there is a special eyelet for this). In general, I was completely satisfied with such a device for bathing newborn babies.
