For the people who complained about the quality, I can say only two things;1 - you did not receive the same product that I did, or2 - you either did not connect it properly, or used the wrong power supply. On that point: You DO NOT have to put a resistor on the LED side of the switch, these are made to be directly connected to 12VDC.You need negative "-" (ground) going to the yellow "gold" connector at one end, and 12VDC positive "+" going to the middle connector for the light to light up when the switch is thrown. If you have it wrong the light won't turn on and off.Search the internet for pictures of "led switch" .God only knows what the people are doing who claim that the switch is getting hot.The GOODThe quality & construction of these switches is first rate. Well made and quite sturdy. There's a small protuberance on one side. This is a GOOD thing. It keeps the switch from turning in the hole.***BUT*** if you try to push the switch into hard/thick material you may cave in that side of the switch and therefore cause the switch to not work correctly. - - - FILE A NOTCH IN THE HOLE FOR THAT SPLIN. - - -Because 4 of the switches had connector pins that were bent, I first tested them with a meter and then a 12VDC, 1 Amp power source. Everything worked as they should, before & after straightening the pins.About those pins. They're well made, and only an idiot could possibly damage them in normal handlingAt only 1 Amp power the LED provides more than enough light. Again - if you hook it up wrong it isn't going to work right. CHECK your connections and power supply.I received the package in record time - 3 days ahead of schedule. So in that I have to say that NSSTAR did a great job.The BAD - The revain web page states "Sold by ***NSSTAR*** and ***Fulfilled by revain***", but the envelope had a label from NSSTAR.There were only 9 of the 10 switches in a plastic bag that had seen MUCH better days. The ziploc bag was pretty beaten up. It had two holes that were more than big enough for the missing switch to have fallen out of.BTW - the outer shipping envelope was totally undamaged, so this happened at the shippers location.Would I recommend these? Absolutely!I only needed 4 of these, and even if I threw away the others it would be cheaper than buying them from most other sources. And having confirmed that they are good quality switches, I'm already thinking of other uses.
