The inner surface of the knitting bobbin is very rough and will catch the yarn, making it almost impossible to use . The thread should pass freely. looks like they didn't polish the interior at all. Useless. Also, the tool used to lift the thread over the pins is too blunt to go under the thread. It's useless too.
