Removes moisture as stated

Product works as stated. However, I would advise getting something bigger for dehumidification. for rooms of 4500 sq. ft. That's less than a pint (0.73 pints) a day; so it's good for bathroom or small room; not enough to make a noticeable difference in a bedroom or on a table. As other reviewers have pointed out, the fork gets quite hot; I measured it at 110F so I wouldn't leave it running unattended all day.
