I am SO disappointed in this laminator. The heating element died about a year after purchase. I called the company and in fact they offer a 12 month warranty and my warranty expired two weeks before the heater element died. They do not offer service or parts for this item so I am stuck with a useless laminator that is only a year old. If you are going to buy a Scotch laminator, go for the cheapest model you can find because you will be replacing it very soon! I would also recommend not buying a kit that includes different sized laminating pouches. If you share the cost, it would be cheaper, to purchase only the laminator and the required custom sizes. Now I have a laminator that doesn't get hot and various custom pouches that I will never use. Very disappointed with the purchase!
