Adding to my hurricane kit
I’ve had this type lantern before, which had a brighter light; however, the fact that this has three ways to charge makes it invaluable. I just moved to the Gulf Coast. Just had our first tropical storm warning. Luckily, it missed us completely. But it helped me realize I need to beef up my hurricane kit, and this is just the ticket because if the usb charge runs out, the crank and solar can be used as backup! Plus, you can charge your cell phone with it! As finances permit, I will add one or two more.
- Good to have in an emergency situation! Will keep you from bumping into things in the dark!
- The lantern may not be very intuitive to use, requiring time to figure out all the functions
