Powerful Compact Solar System

This is the most powerful portable solar panel system I have ever used. Although it weighs a little more than most other systems, it still folds into a very compact and easy to transport kit. It won't fit in your glove box, but it will easily fit in the back seat or trunk of your car. You can probably even carry several of these in one hand to put together an even more powerful solar array. The build quality is fairly typical of most portable solar panel systems. It's sturdy enough to be carried around, but not something you'll want to drop onto a hard surface at an angle. The kit includes a very strong and long cable to connect to the battery or the inverter system. It also includes many ports of different sizes, so it can be connected to almost any device. As expected, these panels helped charge my solar generator batteries in record time compared to arrays that produced less power. Even compared to a 100W solar panel system, the savings in charging time are significant. The system works right out of the box with no assembly or hassle. Just point it at the sun and you're good to go. Instructions are included, but you don't even need to look at them if you've used one of these systems before. My only criticism of this system is that the stand that supports the panels is pretty flimsy and doesn't hold up well in the wind. They're at a pretty weird angle too. I'm lucky I put everything on the floor.

Cons
  • Big and Bulky
