Good quality hoses and fittings but the blue hose is missing the green seal. Unfortunately, this renders the blue hose useless because if you use it, it will release refrigerant into the air (a federal crime). It would be so easy for a packer to look at them and see that yes, the seal is missing. Why? Are people so busy they can't even quickly check? Well I guess I'll punch - I won't be returning these hoses because I can use red and with some permutation - blue, but I can't use both at the same time (for now). All because of the missing green seal. OK, so I've now decided to return them. I'd give zero stars if I could - both ends going to the R12 Schrader valves are screwed up badly, and I mean bad. Some of the thread is so small (missing) that it can't be cut on a Schrader valve, let alone an R12 Schrader valve. If before I thought I could use either of them, now they are completely useless - both. How they passed quality control is unclear.
