This boot is great light weight and kinda cool looking. I however have to return it. It is great for someone with a foot or lower ankle injury. I did not realize this model only had the air bladders on the sides of the ankles. With a shattered tibia and fibula with a rod and plate fixation it was just not adequate in padding the shin and therefore made it painful to use. However I will be ordering the much more expensive elite model as the boot from the surgeon is just way to big now that my swelling has gone down. If your injury is ankle and foot related I say go for it is is much lighter and less expensive than buying from the Doctor or medical supply pharmacy. I wear an 8.5 and the medium was a perfect fit. Sad it didn't work out for me.
