Overall this is a decent mount, very sturdy but still a little wobbly due to the weight of the fans being supported by just one mounting slot. The only problem is that since this bracket is thick enough for regular 120mm fans, it occupies more than one expansion slot, but instead of just using 2 slots in the bracket, they made 1.5 slots out of it. You could use 2 slots to better support the fans and improve the look as it would actually fill 2 slots instead of just hanging halfway in one slot. Plus, it works well and is an easy way to add extra cooling to your GPU. I have an EVGA 980 TI with horribly noisy fans that were so bad it sounded like a jet engine under high load, I think one of the fans went bad. I figured I'd have to try tying some fans to the GPU and then found this mount. I removed the GPU fans and plastic cover and attached a pair of 120mm 1700RPM Noctua fans to this bracket and then installed them under the GPU. I then taped a piece of tape from the fan to the GPU to direct the air better, and later I'll 3D print something nicer. Now my GPU is almost completely silent even under maximum load and the temps are still good. If you want to heavily overclock the GPU, you can use the Noctua 3000 PWM to give you some headroom. The 1700rpm fans barely suffice in some sort of furmark at max power, although there should always be more. Power reserve in games. Now the real problem with this setup is that I can't use the PWM fan curve on the GPU because I couldn't find any software that can get the GPU temperature and control the fans. I can easily make an adapter so the fans can be powered and controlled by the GPU, then I can just adjust the fan curve in Afterbuner. For now I just leave the Noctua fans at 1700RPM as I can barely hear them even with my computer only 3ft from my desk.
