First of all it's a safety razor, it doesn't seem to do much the other doesn't. There are some really good things they've done with the design. the sides of the shaving head are smooth and angular, the blade does not protrude. Very good for me since I use it to shave my head. With other razors I've used, the blade protruded on the sides and sometimes scratched my ear. The large openings at the bottom allow for quick and easy rinsing of hair, not all safety razors have this and it's very important to have when you shave your head in the shower. The very comfortable weight allows you to put pressure on the razor and not on yourself. It looks very smooth overall, didn't find it difficult to hold with a wet and soapy hand, great design. No more expensive than other safety razors. I bought this for my fiancee as she wanted to switch to a safety razor and she loved this one. After trying it myself, I think I'll have to get my own.
