Best option for me so far

Quick update: now that I have more experience with various DE razors, I have to say I hate the thin, slick handle. If your hands are wet, it can be difficult to handle. That's my only downside. Over the years, I've used almost every option available to black men to shave their beards and heads. From creams to different types of electric razors, multi blade razors etc. Some have worked better than others but this gives me the smoothest shave by far. Because of my experience with other blades…

Pros
  • RECOMMENDED: Before shaving, use oil to create a lubricant layer that helps reduce cuts and cuts that can cause dark spots and blemishes. Using a shaving brush and shaving cream, create a rich, protective lather that exfoliates and lifts hair for a smoother, easier shave, leaving your skin smoother and softer. Use a safety razor and blades to trim hair at skin level to reduce roughness and irritation. Finish with an alcohol-free aftershave balm that soothes and soothes skin immediately after application. v

Prevents ingrown hairs

I shave my head once a week and used to use a cheaper five blade razor. I've been suffering from ingrown hairs for about 10 years. I didn't know that until last year. So I decided to look for a single blade safety razor. After reading the reviews I decided to give it a try even though it is very expensive. I have to say that there is a learning curve on how to position the blade so that it wobbles. But once it worked, my ingrown hair situation improved a lot. I have found that I have to change…

Pros
  • FOR BEST USE: Always hold the safety razor at an angle of about 30°. While holding the logo on the head against the skin, tilt the handle until the blade touches the skin. Be light and let the weight of the razor do the work, don't put pressure on it. Keep gliding short and remember to always shave in the direction of hair growth.

Great Design - Safety Razor

First of all it's a safety razor, it doesn't seem to do much the other doesn't. There are some really good things they've done with the design. the sides of the shaving head are smooth and angular, the blade does not protrude. Very good for me since I use it to shave my head. With other razors I've used, the blade protruded on the sides and sometimes scratched my ear. The large openings at the bottom allow for quick and easy rinsing of hair, not all safety razors have this and it's very…

Pros
  • SAFETY RAZOR LUXURY - This razor has been redesigned to avoid scratches and irritation thanks to its double edged blades and heavy handle

Almost perfect, although the imperfections are very serious

Update 3/2021. I have to change my original rating from 4 stars recommended to 2 stars not recommended. The ergonomics of the razor is simply uncertain. It slipped out of his hands several times or rotated during use. If the razor slides sideways in your hand, it can cut your face. I have resigned many times. I have never dropped my Edwin Jagger in all the years I have owned it. I really like the angle of the shaving head, that's the only thing I like about it, everything else is a disaster…

Pros
  • HIGH QUALITY - Perfectly weighted brass handle glides over the skin with no added pressure
Cons
  • Retrofittable
