I wasn't expecting much from a $21.50 sewing machine (after the coupon) and honestly I really didn't know what to expect as I had never sewn more buttons before. . But I have to say that I'm already completely thrilled. I decided to give it a try because I had a project that required about 50ft of stitches (long story). Thought it might be worth a try for $20 and I'm glad I did. I watched a youtube video with machine instructions but it was pretty easy to understand anyway. I walked about a foot over the rag for testing purposes and already had the confidence to start the project. The car ran 50 feet with no issues and the pre-installed pom-poms were enough to get the job done. Considering they contained about 25 pom poms, I don't think I'll be needing more for a long, long time. The seams were tight and secure, easily penetrating even four layers. It slowed down and even stopped in two places where the layers were stacked so hard they barely fit under the shoes, but a few manual twists of the rear handle and I was back in business. I'm really impressed with it. machine (and I'm a little impressed myself). Can't attest to longevity as all 50ft was done in one day but I figured I had my money's worth already. I highly recommend it.
