I thought this would be great to help cool my kitchen which is always warmer than the rest of the house. I received this "cooler" a month ago, June 11, and as of yesterday, 7/21, it's no good. First of all, the bottles that come with it are small and contain silicone. You fill them, to the MAX fill line, with water & freeze them. After a week, one of the bottles started to crack at the edges. I tried standing the bottles upright and placing them near the entrance of the water-fill area. They always fell in and I would have to put my whole hand in to retrieve it. If you have large hands, this will be difficult. The cooler has a minimum and maximum fill line. When the water level gets to the minimum line, it stops drawing water from the reservoir. You can either keep adding to that water or attempt to empty and clean (not an easy task). Lastly, that air that this puts out is only as cool as the water that's inside of it. I kept bottles of water in the refrigerator to place in addition to the freezer bottles that came with it. Once the water warms, so does the air it puts out and you have to wait for level to go down before adding more. You must also be near the cooler to feel the air when it IS working. The last straw was yesterday. Fortunately, because I'd read a couple of other reviews, I had placed a large tray under the cooler. It leaked out ALL of the water through the front where the air blows out and in the back through the air filter. The tray was already filled with water when I saw it, none left in the cooler itself. I put more in just to see where it had leaked and that's when I found it was blowing out water through the front and back. Do your research, read the reviews and learn from them, and do not purchase this item!
