I have used belt clip phone cases on about 10 different phones including 4 smartphones for over 17 years and this case simply fits the best and feels the most durable. Nothing is covered and there is plenty of room for a cable in the ports. In the past I've seen some cases partially cover the speaker/mic openings, and I've also had to cut the plastic next to the connector on the charging cables to ensure a tight fit. What worries me in this case is how difficult it is to push the connector. 3 buttons on the side of my Moto Z4 since I added the case. I find the power button particularly difficult to press. Some cases will be open to the power and volume buttons, but this one covers them. When I get tired of it, I can cut out buttonholes at the end. I'm not suggesting that such a change will affect the integrity of the case, but I'm sure it will void the warranty.
