No big main compartment. Very easy to care for
Advantages: Very easy to care for and very durable. I recently switched to all metal kitchen appliances for personal reasons and this is just what I needed. Cons: It's so smooth it doesn't crush the food, so it's completely smooth. The potatoes slide over the wires and you are left with chunks. I will not be returning it but if you want a full puree I would skip this product.
