I bought with the desire to get a good microphone for the best voice transmission and loud. In the end, I liked everything in the store. At home, the recording from the microphone seemed very quiet. I decided to change the microphone, put it from an old Philips phone. It turned out great. Actually I bought, as I already said, as a microphone, for an English training program. For one of the programs, the regular microphone was enough, for the other, not, there was not enough volume. After replacing the microphone, everything worked fine. At the regular microphone, I turned up the volume on the computer and the gain (sensitivity) also to the full. All the same, it was not enough and the background appeared. After the replacement, the volume was enough with the sensitivity reduced to "zero" and the volume was 50-60%. But without a background (there is a small background, but not comparable with the previous one) I tried the upgraded headset in Skype, great. I tried a cheap other headset in Skype. Approximately the microphone is like Koss with the original microphone. I can't say anything about the sound quality of the headphones. Not a music lover. I drew my own conclusions: 1. For Skype, you can buy a cheap headset for 200. The main thing is to sit comfortably. 2. If you want to have a headset with a good microphone, you can again buy a comfortable cheap one and change the microphone in it. After these conclusions, sorry for the money thrown away. Bought for 1500r. And I could for 200-300r.
