Caller ID boxes are great (as long as the caller hasn't blocked their ID). The only problem is that there are very few useful features surrounding caller ID, which is why most manufacturers seem to think they should pack everything imaginable into these boxes. The ability to view the last 99 incoming calls loses its appeal after the first scan. Since we don't get many obscene calls, it's of little interest to know when each call comes in. And with limited space, there can be so many buttons at the top of this panel. Therefore, an instruction manual should be kept close to the box, especially if you rarely use this item. Don't get me wrong, this is a good device and quite attractive. And I'm not one of those people who flashes 12 o'clock on the VCR. But someone should make a simple $10 box that displays ID info when a call comes in and then has a FWD and REV rocker to scan the latter. Oh. 20 calls or so. Period. All in all a good box at a good price if you don't already have phones with caller ID built in.
