4 stars because as you can see from my attached photos the thermal pads that came with it are rubbish and not a long strip as seen in my second photo I have got two stripes consisting of blue checkered squares and one red stripe and they all looked like someone had already used them and they were too wide and too long for a 2280m2 SSD. Luckily as a computer nerd I had a box full of these, this is a solid strip, which can be seen in my second photo as this wasn't the first time I've received a heatsink that used junk thermal strips. Broken square strips if anyone else gets this item square washers should not be used as as they are not a solid piece they will not transfer heat from the ssd like they should or if you just need to use them ii recommend using them on the bottom of the disc until you get the stripes you want. I'm sure it's not the seller's fault they were in that shape so don't blame them, but the manufacturer or QC who packaged these things really needs to make sure they're two of the same size strips that consist of one piece.
