The original Winix A 115115 True HEPA filter measures 12 5/8 inches wide, 16 5/16 inches high and 1 1/4 inches thick and fits snugly in the alcove. Measures 12 1/2" wide, 16 1/4" tall and 1 1/4" thick leaving a 1/8" wide gap at the side and a 1/16" wide gap at the top. Also the included activated carbon pre-filter is too big to fit in the raised rim of the HEPA filter I have to make spacers out of the packaging to prevent air from escaping through the chinks and dust from building up in the fan duct.
