You need to look at the back of the switch, it may need a backlight, but it is labeled with terminals: 1 - positive LED 2 - negative LED NC - normally closed (switch not pressed) NO - normally open (switch not depressed) is a terminal normally used to power a siren or a relay for a siren. C - Ground - This is a terminal normally used with NO (up) to complete the horn or horn relay circuit. The switch has a nice smooth LED backlight. The button has a great tactile feel, with good travel and a "clicky" feel, rather than just feeling like you're pressing a spring. on the LED - on the contrary, it should be, so do not get carried away with lead paints! Since I was a bit anal I used a small jeweler's screwdriver to press the connector tab in the switch socket to remove and swap these wires so they were - black and + red. If you do this, you may need to slide the connector's release tab slightly to snap the connector back into place. I gave it 5 stars despite the tangle of cables as the switch itself is very good.
