As daytime running lights on the back of my commuter e-bike, they have proven themselves in everyday use. I attached them to the back of my posts on the pole where the pole was extended with a rubber band to fit the lightweight mounting brackets. So far, the mounts have remained true to their directional position as you hop around on a 25-mile electric bike bombing city streets. I originally installed them on my chainstays and adjusted the brackets perfectly to compensate for the angle of the chainstays. I run these lights at maximum brightness during the day. My commute to work takes about 45 minutes, which is 90 minutes a day. I have to charge every 4 days. The attached photo shows the minimum brightness setting. This is perfect for twilight or darkness. In bright sunshine, a high setting is enough to ensure traffic sees you, whether they like it or not.
