It's easy to set up, decent volume controls and nice lighting. However, there is no bass, at least I got it in the setup. Overall, it's a pretty tinny sound. I have an old pair of Vaios and they sound better than them. If you just need some amplification, maybe single-wire laptop speakers, and aren't too concerned about sound quality, then this is the way to go. Otherwise look for something with bigger drivers. I returned mine.
