Review on πŸ“€ Experience Ultra-Convenience with Funai Corp. DV220FX5 Dual Deck DVD and VHS Player by Nick Ross

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Funny Funai works great if you have everything set up correctly!

At first I was hesitant to order this unknown brand but after reading some reviews here I decided to go for it. I needed a VCR/DVD combo and so far I've been impressed with all but one exception. I will say that the Funai customer service phone number was helpful when I called to ask for help. I didn't have to wait long for a technician to help set up my connections. My VHS cassettes play better here than on my predecessor. It doesn't eat up my tapes and the DVD plays well. Now I can record my shows but I have yet to figure out how to record with the TV off, but I am working on it. I have to say, despite the weird name, it's a quality brand once you set it up. If you want to record the series on video cassette, do not leave the DVD in the slot. For some reason you can record with the TV off when there is no DVD in it.

Pros
  • Still and slow motion
Cons
  • Not bad but...
