I needed to wear a watch while sea kayaking that had to be reliable enough not to be lost during rescue drills or other stressful situations. After losing a G-Shock with a factory strap, I turned to Archer NATO. Three years later I haven't lost my watch! After wearing them enough, I decided to replace them with new ones, but they have suffered so much from mishandling that it's not the watch's fault. I wear this watch on my wrist all the time. On the water I either wear it on my wrist or tie it to my life jacket. This is great equipment.
