This is a very light desktop box, so light that you slide the disc in as it spins (not easy either). The box rotates by centrifugal force. You may need to put rubber pads on the bottom to hold the table. The light weight makes it difficult to use, especially when combined with the manual effort required to insert the disc. Also loud. I don't know if using cheaper parts that aren't balanced will wear it out quicker. Now most things are disabled. but it might help me what I want to do with the Mac Book Pro when using the USB-C ports as it suits this leap in performance. I don't know if it delivers. Surprised if it is. I wouldn't get it if I had to buy it again. Apple is much better in comparison.
