    Works well.: Optical Drives

    Since most new computers don't come with a CD drive, this is a must-have. When my last hard drive failed, I was painfully aware of how long it takes to recover most of your files. I have an automatic backup, but not everything gets here. Being able to burn a CD is great. Not to mention all the CDs I currently have.

    Great half price super drive from Apple!

    Works just as well as an Apple USB stick. Perfect for the new MacBook Pro with USB-C port. Simply plug and play. Save half the money and get this little guy instead!

    Waste of money. The laptop does not recognize the product or keeps ejecting the CD. Please don't waste your hard earned money on this. Also, the description says silver and I received the product in black. 🙄

    It s cheap ! and difficult to use for plug and play.

    This is a very light desktop box, so light that you slide the disc in as it spins (not easy either). The box rotates by centrifugal force. You may need to put rubber pads on the bottom to hold the table. The light weight makes it difficult to use, especially when combined with the manual effort required to insert the disc. Also loud. I don't know if using cheaper parts that aren't balanced will wear it out quicker. Now most things are disabled. but it might help me what I want to do with the…

    A very good choice for mobile users.

    Delivered in safe packaging, in a very nice case with instruction card and USB adapter. I was happy to find this super drive with a new USBC cable for my new MacBook Pro PLUS and an adapter for my old computer. Lightweight, works great and is a great price with the included case (really good case!) and adapter. I will update here if I run into any issues but so far satisfied and very happy with the seller.

    I needed a drive for the Bootcamp partition on my MacBook Pro and didn't want to spend $100 on Apple's SuperDrive. The aesthetics of this drive leaves a lot to be desired, it looks like a raw prototype, with rough plastic around the edges that isn't smoothed out. It won't sit flat because the plastic arches bulge out at the bottom. BUT, it works as it should, doesn't make any noise and the speed is reasonable, so that's something. And I guess for under $40 I probably don't have the right to…
