I got these bags to make the chore of emptying the several small trash cans throughout my home. Unlike those food bags in grocery stores, these bags are easy to open for use and heavier. The bottom of the bag is the right size for the trash cans. Sufficient amount of the bag hangs over the can helps to keep the bag from accidently being pulled into the can. On one can I use a large rubber band to hold it in place. That extra length of the bag also allows for knotting it when the can needs to be emptied. The bags are sturdy and perfect for my use. I will buy them again when needed.
