This case snaps on fits perfectly and looks great. It does add a little weight and bulk to the MacBook (which is VERY thin/light) but that is expected. It adds enough weight to the top/display that it may actually wear on the hinge over time, my concern is that it will make the nice/tight hinge a bit looser over time due to the extra weight.I think my main issue with it as it was supposed to be 'grippy' with a rubberized finish and that's a bit of an overstatement here, while it's not glossy and slick plastic it is a bit short of rubbery. It does have a very slight Rubberized finish to it but not enough that it won't slip from your hand. I have a carbon fiber skin installed underneath it and it fits over the skin with not issues and doesn't seem too tight due to the skin. The little clips on the edges look to be wide enough that they'll hold up well, but hopefully they won't break with removal/replacement. I do plan to remove this case when I'm not traveling as I don't need the extra weight on the device while I'm using it at home.The thickness is about right to protect the MacBook and my USB-C mini doc is still able to plug in and work effectively.All in all it is a good cover, I wish it had a bit more grip to it - this would have mad it 5-stars.
