My son wore them when he started walking and they are amazing! There's a pad on the underside, so it's not exactly a flat surface for a child to step on. I like that they are very soft and don't leave blisters or marks on my feet. I also like the holes that allow air to circulate, especially in the warm summer months, they prevent my feet from sweating.
