I bought this because my colleagues and I need to upgrade our M.2 hard drives on our computers at work and really don't want to reinstall everything. I used this as a cone device to clone our 256GB drives to new 1TB drives. It worked as advertised and the clone only took 2 minutes. Amazing technology, you only need to remember to disconnect USB cable from computer while cloning hard drive. After the new 1TB drive was installed and booted, I simply used Windows Disk Management to extend the partition. You can tell that running in less than 15 minutes is almost like magic. The only downside of the whole experience is that the cost of the device was a bit high but I didn't have to reinstall the OS and apps on 4 computers.
