This magic bacteria bottle did pretty much justice to the advert. I am a beginner in saltwater cooling and am struggling to maintain good ammonia and nitrite levels in the early stages of my aquarium's development. I thought I followed all the steps and seeded my system before adding any fish, but I think I was overfeeding because my ammonia kept spiking up and my nitrates stayed consistently high, even with a 30% water change once a week . I got fed up with the book method the other day and decided to buy it after reading good reviews and tips online. And to be honest, after a 30% water change and dosing 5ml of this stuff, my ammonia dropped back to 0 a day later, as did my nitrites. This result made me very happy lol. I don't know how sustainable this solution is but I will continue to use the recommended daily dose for the next week or two and hopefully this will be enough to inoculate my aquarium with enough bacteria for my current condition. bioburden.
