Firstly, I didn't buy this LED strip for the TV, although I wouldn't hesitate to do so. I was looking for an inexpensive way to make a guitar effects pedal glow, and since I had an open USB port I figured it might be worth a try. These light sources are impressive. They have perfect brightness and the built-in microphone picks up a moderate volume, effectively changing the lighting. There are many application settings, but they work without the application using the buttons on the microphone unit. The sticky bits are very sticky, which is often a problem when these things don't stay in place. This kit will not have this problem. I haven't measured but I estimate it's about 2 meters of light strip, easily bends around corners and comes with a bag of corner brackets. Because of the mentioned stickiness I didn't need it at all. So for ten bucks I have an LED-lit guitar effects rig that changes the light depending on what I'm playing. Saying I'm happy means saying nothing.
