The lights look a lot bigger in the pictures which I was expecting but their small size looks nice. In fact, they fit perfectly on my shelf! I had a little trouble building it, but only because I didn't know the chips had to face the light (everything I had went one way). Beautiful lights with SOOOOO many color combinations and patterns. My favorite setting is to let it work for itself to match the sound, it uses so many beautiful patterns and has fun in the room. The only disappointment is that you have to make sure the audio is really really loud or close to the mic. the lights. I installed the speaker right next to the microphone and it works really well. I would just change it to a specific pattern if you want to listen to quieter music or stuff that doesn't have a lot of rhythm. It only stays dark if it can't make out any sounds.
