My mum passed away in 2015 and loved Bradford Exchange's decorative plates. She collected over 40 plates and even gave them away. When collecting my mother's belongings, I chose these containers to keep her treasures. The boxes are sized to accommodate both large and small plates. They come with a round piece of felt material that you need to use between the panels, but I didn't feel they were protective enough or big enough, so I also bought "11 7/8" x 12.1/ 8" styrofoam packs (50 pack), pillowcases to protect dishes, glasses, china and fragile items, California Basics Moving Packing Materials for $14.95 The bags are wonderful and are made of bubble wrap which I think the description says that each box can hold a dozen plates, but that doesn't apply to bags - maybe around nine or 10 plates apiece Boxes aren't very strong (cloth/canvas walls, hardboard with matching fabric.) If you drop them, they will sure to break the panels but I didn't buy them for this function, for hanging the panels I bought two packs of storage bin containers, a separate large container and two packs of sachets.The tasc hen are great for Christmas decorations, precious moments and other trinkets.
