Save yourself a trip to the dealer or mechanic
I have to say that it took me longer to watch online videos on how to replace my headlight than to install this kit. Your mileage may vary based on skill. Having removed my standard halogen bulb, this isolation kit has become a pretty standard plug and play. The box also includes instructions to help you with this. The kit also comes with some zip ties and an allen wrench, but I didn't need them. If I were to take this to a dealer or auto mechanic I would easily pay $150-$200 so I saved myself a lot of money by doing it myself and you can do it too if you are a DIYer. As you can see in the photos, the Philips HIR2 LL 55W DOT 9012 halogen bulb emits a yellowish light, while the Alla LEDs are much brighter, 6000K lumens and only consume 30W. I am very happy with the results and will update/downgrade my rating if not passed within a year. I installed them on a 2012 Chevy Volt 1ST GEN. This restriction applies to all brands of LED headlight bulbs on the market. This is not only the case with Alla Lighting. International can be different.
