When I'm running in the park I like to wear a mask when passing others. The traditional mask I wear in the store is too thick and difficult to breathe when running long distances. They are thin enough that I can breathe without problems. I don't know if they offer the same protection as a filter mask but it's better than nothing. I run early in the morning so one of their benefits is that it keeps my face a bit warmer on cold days. So that's an added plus. The only downside is that they might be a bit small so they are tight. However, it can help to keep them in your face and not fall off while running. This is a decent product and with 6 in the pack I have a new one for every day I run. Sunday is my rest day (and meal day) so I don't need a 7th mask :-) gave 4 stars for lack of protection when used as a day mask for shopping but alone for running I'd say 5 stars something is better than nothing)
