Fairly expensive fan. But it's cool, looks great and the air definitely circulates. My star is -1/2 because it doesn't wobble and doesn't allow you to spin the fan in the right direction. You need to get to the base and point the fan there. Not much and I knew about it before I bought it. The other -1/2 star isn't that big of a deal either. But you'll probably have to rotate the silver collet 180 degrees from how it came in the box. This allows the power cord and set screws to be placed on the back of the post. It's just an eyesore. This is very easy to fix before mounting the fan. I just didn't see it until I put everything together and got up. Also, the help of a friend would make the task easier. This is a pretty heavy fan. It has good rubber feet, it's not too loud, it sounds like a fan. Looks very easy to take apart for cleaning. In general I am very satisfied. To update. Yes. Mine started making noise after about 6 hours of use. I could probably fix it if I had nothing else to do. But why should I for this price? He comes back.
