Review on 🍊 Kai DH3017ENG Select 100 Grapefruit/Orange Squeezer: Effortlessly Extract Fresh Juice with Precision by John Twardowski

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Lighter than I thought

I've never owned a juicer before but ended up with a whole bag of grapefruits that were a bit soft so I wanted to make juice out of them. I've reviewed about a dozen juicers on Revain and liked this one for the following reasons: 1. It's ceramic (I don't like plastic at all)2. Can be washed in a dishwasher3. It's big enough for grapefruit but can also be used for oranges. (probably not lemons though) 4. He clearly has sharp fins that scrape the skin dry from the inside like a bone! You can pour from both sides of the bowl, both sides have a spout.6. There is a silicone ring on the bottom. Therefore, it will almost never slide on the countertop while you slide and twist. It has no motor that can fail and render your purchase useless. Cons: 1. I reach here but it might break if you drop it. 2. It has no seed strainer. (I just poured it into the jar through my own strainer) 3. You can only juice 1/2 grapefruit at a time before emptying. (hardly a whole SMALL grapefruit, but definitely not a big one) 4. $$$ (You can buy a cheap electric juicer for almost the same price) One dish contains almost 3/4C of juice before overflowing. The non-slip silicone bottom and sharp ribs really do me good. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
